Upon arrival, the hotel was conveniently close to the hospital where I had appointments. The rooms had a musty smell and felt damp, needing better cleanliness. The central location made it ideal for exploring downtown St John's and nearby attractions, with the added bonus of a pool and waterslide for kids.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and basic, but there was still some garbage from previous guests, and it was noisy with loud guests and kids running around late into the night. The staff, while friendly, had limitations in taking reservations. The location was good for my needs, but a bit far from the town center and lacked amenities like shuttles. The dining experience was not satisfactory, as I had to pay for it and the quality did not match the price. On the positive side, the morning receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The hotel is conveniently located near downtown St John's, offering easy access to various amenities and tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious with a private veranda, but cleanliness could be improved. The service is exceptional, with staff going above and beyond. Dining options are limited, and the attached facilities show signs of wear. Overall, a good value for money stay.
